Ted Sicker, Executive Producer
An executive producer for WGBH Interactive, Ted Sicker has been a
pioneer in educational rich media for K-16 audiences since 1987.
He has headed production of WGBH's National Science Digital Library
(NSDL) project Teachers' Domain, and has taken part in a range of
NSDL activities, including presentations at both NSDL and NSTA
conferences. He has produced online teachers' professional development
courses for WGBH and Annenberg/CPB, and has collaborated with
numerous educational publishers. Sicker received a B.A. from Cornell
University and an M.S. in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.
Denise Blumenthal, Director of Educational Productions
Denise Blumenthal has spent more than 20 years researching,
implementing, and evaluating professional development programs
across numerous content areas. Blumenthal has coordinated development
of all curriculum materials for the Teachers' Domain collections,
as well as for the Teachers' Domain Professional Development courses.
She was Principal Investigator for Learning That Works and Pathways
to Technology, both NSF-funded projects. Blumenthal holds a B.A.
from the University of Wisconsin and an Ed.M. from Harvard University.
