Manage My Folders

Manage My Folders allows you to create or delete resource folders and to determine which folders to list in your "My Folders" pull-down menu. It also provides "Manage group access" links to My Groups, where you can determine which user groups have access to each folder you create. Note that by default, you will always have a "My Resources" folder, which you cannot remove from the pull-down menu, delete, or rename.

Creating a New Folder:

To set up a new resource folder, click "Create a New Folder." Fill in a title and a description (optional). Note that you can also add or edit a description on the Resource Folder page. After entering this information, click the "Create New Folder" button.


Displaying a Folder Name in the Pull-down Menu:

By default, each folder you create is displayed in your My Folders pull-down menu. You can choose to not include it by unchecking "Display in My Folders menu." Note that if you want to get to an unchecked folder, your only access to it is by clicking its title link on this Manage My Folders page.


Deleting a Folder:

To delete a folder, click "Delete folder" and then confirm by clicking the "Delete Folder" button.

Note: Deleting a folder from the Manage My Folders page will permanently delete it.
