About Resource Folders
Resource folders let you save and organize your own collection of links to Teachers' Domain resources. You can sort your collections and write notes specific to each resource. These notes can be for your use only, or for others to read if you allow group access to particular folders.
To collect a resource, click "Save to a folder" on its resource page. You will see a pull-down menu of folders you have created using "Manage My Folders." (When you first use Teachers' Domain, you automatically have a folder called "My Resources.") Select a folder, and then click "Save." You can navigate to a particular folder by clicking "My Folders."

On a folder page, click the title link to go to the resource page for this media resource. Click "View" to see the media resource itself in a pop-up window.

You can write a personalized note for each resource to add your comments, teaching ideas, or information for students. Click "Add a note," and then click and type into the text field. Click the "Save" button when you're finished.
To edit a note (now or later), click "Edit note," make your changes within the text field, then click the "Save" button.
Note: Copying a resource from one folder to another also copies that resource's notes. If you allow group access to a folder, your notes in that folder will be viewable; your group users cannot alter your notes.

To move a resource link to a different position in the folder list, click "Sort." Then select the position number you want to move it to and click the "Sort List" button.
To remove a resource link from a folder, click "Remove" and then confirm by clicking the "Remove from List" button. Note that removing a resource link from one folder will not remove it from any other folder.
To copy a resource link into another folder, click "Copy to another folder," select a folder from the pull-down menu, and then click the "Copy" button.

Use the "Rename folder" and "Add/Edit folder description" links to change these items. When you have edited the text, click the "Save" button.
