In this animation from SERVE, learn how conversation with a teacher enhances kindergarten vocabulary. When the teacher uses simple questions to ask students to name things, they rely on familiar vocabulary. However, when the teacher engages students in a conversation, new words that the class has been studying come naturally into play, and become permanent parts of the students’ vocabulary.
