This video from Sirius Thinking, Ltd. presents interviews with parents and kids about their experiences in the Middle Country (Long Island, NY) Public Library’s Between the Lions Reading Den. The families explain how they value the literacy resources available in the Den — a library-based environment that encourages parents and kids to watch BTL episodes together (at home and in the library), to read the books featured on those episodes, and to participate in activities based on the shows and books.
