What is the function of each part of the electroscope: pie pan, cup, straw, thread/string, ball?
What material is each part made of? Which of these materials are conductors and which are insulators?
Will two negatively charged objects repel or attract each other? Two positively charged objects? A positively charged object and a negatively charged object? What rule can you state about charged objects repelling or attracting each other?
