What is a photon?
Ball bearings are used as models of photons. In what ways do ball bearings differ from photons? Why are ball bearings used to describe the behavior of light?
The narrator says that all objects reflect light. Why can we see our reflected image in some objects but not in others?
Have you ever cleaned and polished furniture or a car so that you could see your reflection? How did cleaning and polishing do that?
Draw a diagram of a periscope (made of tubes and mirrors). Then, using arrows to represent beams of light traveling in straight lines, show how the law of reflection lets us see objects that are not in our direct line of sight.
