Questions for Discussion: Documenting Glacial Change

Describe some of the changes that occur on a landscape when a glacier recedes. Consider the impact on both the land and on living things.
Pick one pair of photographs. Using two columns or a T-chart, make some comparisons between the two. What do you think is a possible explanation for the changes in this place over time?
Repeat the comparison with a second pair. Can you find any patterns of change in these different places? Can you think of an explanation for why patterns may or may not exist?
