This video segment from Weston Woods is a contemporary or modern version of an old tale called “The Red Shoes.” The original tale was written in 1845 by Hans Christian Anderson, a famous children’s author, and is about a young girl's obsession with a pair of magical red shoes. In this portion of the modern story, a shoemaker introduces the story of Lisa, her best friend and how they did everything together.
