Here are some Frame, Focus and Follow-up suggestions for using this video in a math lesson.
What is Frame, Focus and Follow-up?
Frame: A third grader was given the problem 35 x 5 to figure out. She said that if she multiplied 30 x 5 that would equal 150. Then she multiplied 5 x 5 and got 25. Then she added those two products together and got 175. Is that correct? Can you draw a picture to show what she did?
Focus: In this segment, Delete sneezes 103 times. How does the CyberSquad figure out how many clones that makes? As you watch this segment, use a paper and pencil to record the CyberSquad’s process of calculating clones.
